Welcome to Crystal Bridges and The Momentary!

When a brand-new digital display was installed inside the Garrison Main Lobby at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the immediate next question was: What should this show guests? My strategy was to have short, dynamic videos play on a loop that conveyed the museum's free offerings and paid special events, while also cross-promoting The Momentary, Crystal Bridges' sister-institution. This simple approach complemented static content displayed on other digital signage across the two campuses, which helped separate strategic messaging and critical transactional information with guests.

So long, paper tickets! Hello mobile digital wallets!

During the tail-end of the COVID-19 pandemic, Crystal Bridges and The Momentary (CBMO) initiated a project to divest from paper tickets and move toward a digital ticketing platform utilizing email and iOS/Android mobile wallets similar in function to digital airline tickets at airports. I led a team composed of CBMO staff and our digital agency of record to design the overall product and build the app on iOS and Android platforms tied to the institution's Tessitura ticketing infrastructure.
