First we introduced you to a class where you could learn how to ride horses. Now, meet the pros.

The UARK Horse Ranch Team – composed of seven students from @bumperscollege, @uarkfulbright, and @uofaengineering – competes in competitions across Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. At these competitions, students compete in four events each: reining, cow work, trail, and stock horse pleasure/ranch riding. These horse and rider pairs are judged on how well they complete the pattern, if they look confident doing it, and if their horse can work on a ranch. Coached by Equine Instructor Amanda Baxter, the team is the 2022 Stock Horse of Texas (SHTX) World Show D2 Collegiate Champions. Recently, @uaranchhorseteam won the SHTX Aggieland Classic D2 Collegiate Team Championship this past September.
